Making History
The Sony A9 Digital Camera is the first camera on the market that offers its users a 24.2-megapixel, full-frame stacked CMOS imaging sensor. This is a first in the history of digital cameras.
Fantastic Speeds
Users can benefit from 20fps capture speeds with continuous AF/AE tracking for up to 241 RAW images or, alternatively, 362 JPEGs.
Game-Changing and Precise Autofocus
This camera is capable of tracking complex, haphazard movement with far greater accuracy compared to the previous models. It features a new AF/AE system that can calculate up to 60 times per second. Additionally, the 693 focal plane phase detection AF points ensure that approx. 93% of the frame is being monitored at all times.
Ergonomic Design
Thanks to its ergonomic design, the A9 provides users with extremely fast operation. The joystick, that is located at the back of the camera, allows users to change focus in the frame by simply pressing a direction. The direction modes include: Zone, Flexible Spot and Expanded Flexible Shot focus area modes.
Improved Battery
Compatible with the new NP-FZ100 battery, this camera offers its operators approx. 2.2x the capacity found in the previous Sony full-frame models. In addition to this, dual card slots have been implemented. These support the data being recorded to both cards at the same time, concurrently, or as separate RAW/JPEG cards.
Highly Versatile
Boasting an ISO range of 100-51,200 (expandable to 50-204,800), that works with the BIONZ X processor, noise on higher settings has been successfully minimised. Uncompressed 14-bit RAW is also supported, leaving users to enjoy a wide dynamic range.
Ideal for Full-Frame 4K Video Capture
Through being able of capturing 6K of data, oversampling, the camera can produce a stunningly high quality 4K video output. Users can record up to 120fps full HD for 20-25% slow motion with AF tracking that is of broadcast quality.
Quad-VGA OLED TruFinder
The TruFinder offers 3,686k-dots making it the highest-resolution viewfinder that Sony has ever integrated into one of their cameras. The Zeiss T coating aided in the optimisation of the ultra-sharp screen and allows to be set to 60 or 120fps depending on the need of the camera operator.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
