This Baader eyepiece set contains a set of four dual-purpose 1.25/2 inch eyepieces, with focal lengths ranging from 5 to 24mm. Each utilises Baader's Phantom Group multi-coating - to ensure sharp contrast and maximum light transmission - and features both a M43 and SP54 photographic thread, housed under a protective silicone rubber ring. The focal length of all bar the 24mm eyepiece may be increased by removing the front lens group or by the addition of separately available fine-tuning rings.
The Baader Hyperion Starter Eyepiece Set Including Case
The Hyperion design has both a 31.7mm (1 1/4") and 50.8mm (2") barrel for fitting into either size focuser or diagonal. Both barrel sizes have a safety groove for safe use in your telescope. Each Hyperion features Baader's Phanton-Group Multi-Coatings for maximum light transmission and the ultimate in image contrast. There are two photographic threads on each Hyperion: M43 and SP54. These threads are located under the rubber eye-cap, or rather beneath the thread protecting ring which is made of high-quality and aging-resistant silicone rubber.
Baader Phantom Group Coating
Baader Phantom Group Coating is a 7-layer broadband coating with extremely low residual reflection. The term "Group" refers to the fact that for each type of glass used in the Hyperion eyepieces, the respective effective anti-reflection layer is applied.
All these different anti-reflection coatings on each lens surface have then been optimised to be most effective where the human eye has its highest sensitivity at night - at about 520 nm - in the green region of the spectrum.
Adapting your Hyperion
The Hyperion can be combined with a Baader adaptor ring to mount a camera directly onto the eyepiece. In addition, there are a large number of Baader adapting rings and fittings to make the Hyperion suitable for (almost) every task in astronomical - and nature - photography, as a high quality projection optic or as a tele-extender. The Hyperions work as well for photographic applications as they do for visual use.

Can I repay early? If so how?
No repayments are scheduled in the initial six-month deferral period. However, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, but a £29.00 early-settlement will be incurred. Such repayments may be made to Barclays Partner Finance by cheque, debit card or standing order. Unfortunately it is not possible to set up a direct debit within the deferral period. Further information on how to make such repayments will be set out in the loan agreement pack provided by Barclays Partner Finance.
What happens if I don't repay within the first six months (deferral period)?
Following the six month deferral period, Barclays Partner Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 19.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Late payment penalties and early repayment charges will apply from this point. Barclays Partner Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six month deferral period is due to elapse. Note: If you chose to spread the cost and pay monthly, interest is charged from the start of the loan, not from the start of the repayment period.
What will I receive from the finance provider (lender)?
Barclays Partner Finance will send a loan agreement pack approximately four weeks after delivery of the goods, confirming that the account has been activated and, from this point, it is possible to make repayments against the loan.
