Wex Photographic Staff Photo Competition

The talented Wex Photographic Staff have once again put finger to shutter for June's photo competition. Following in line with the WEX Gallery customer competition the theme for June was "Close Up".

As expected now, entries came from all corners of the business, with the sales guys and back office gals all supplying some superb shots.

So, we are proud to announce that the winner of June's round of the Wex Photographic Staff Photo Competition is.....

Lucy Rayner from the Wex Photographic e-commerce team!

Greater Bulb Fly on a lily

The judges were impressed by the technical execution of the shot, so much so that, even though one judge didn’t think it was the best looking bug in the world (who knew good looking bugs existed?) it had made it into the shortlist of all 3 judges and was duly chosen as the winning shot.

Honourable mentions this month go to Natasha Davis in the corporate team and Oliver Frere-Smith in the Norwich Showroom.

A slice of green

The particularly high quality of all this months submissions made the judging process extremely difficult, and the top few images were only separated by the narrowest of margins.

July's competition will once again mirror the theme of the WEX Gallery with the Wex Photographic staff being invited to submit photographs under the theme of "The Street". As always we look forward to bringing you the results next month, but in the meantime here are some of the judges other favourite images from June's competition.
