Fuji FinePix F200EXR - The Future of Fotos!

The Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR digital camera incorporates a new 1/1.6" Super CCD EXR sensor that features technology enabling you to use the sensor in three different ways to optimise the dynamic range, resolution and the low-light performance of the camera.

Fuji F200EXR - The Extreme Revolution

The Fuji F200EXR is based on the capabilities of the human eye, enabling you to capture astounding detail when switched to its high resolution mode, great quality in low light when switched to high sensitivity, and amazing highlight detail when in wide dynamic mode.

  • High Resolution mode uses all 12 million pixels and is designed to offer the finest detail of intricate subjects when the light is full and even
  • High Sensitivity & Low Noise mode caps two adjacent pixels together to produce 6 million large photodiodes, which are big enough to absorb light in the darkest of conditions, producing low-light shots with minimal noise and grain
  • Wide Dynamic Range mode captures different exposures with two sets of 6 million pixels, which, when combined, gives an excellent level of etail in highlights that would otherwise be lost.

When in EXR mode, you can choose which setting is preferable for the subject in question, HR, SN and DR modes respectively.

Not only that, but the Fuji F200 EXR digital camera takes it to the next level by automatically recognising the mode to go for, combining EXR technology with Scene recognition technology to ensure the camera delivers the best shot every time. The Fuji F200EXR has six modes; Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night and Night Portrait. The FinePix EXR will recognise the scene you are shooting and the sensor will then choose the best EXR mode for that scene.

With the camera on Auto, the Fuji FinePix F200EXR operates in 12mp mode, whilst in Manual the aperture and shutter speed can be chosen independently, and Program mode offers a choice of Program AE and Aperture Priority AE.

F200EXR Film Simulation

The Fuji FinePix F200EXR also offers five modes for film stimulation; Velvia/Vivid mode for rich and luscious landscapes, Provia/Standard mode for sharp, standard photography, ASTIA/Soft mode for fine smooth tonality, Black and White mode for dramatic monochromes, and Sepia mode for a warm-toned period look.

As seen on...

TV. The Fuji FinePix F200EXR features an HD output for HDTV which means your images look fantastic displayed on the big screen.

In addition to the fantastic qualities above, the Fuji F200EXR also has all the standard technology we expect on any digital camera these days. A 5x zoom range from wide 28mm to long telephoto of 140mm, a 3" LCD screen and Face Detection 3.0 with auto red-eye removal, to name but a few.

All in all it seems the Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR is going to set the standard for digital cameras in 2009. It's great to see technology developing into unchartered waters - the question is, who will follow and what will come next?
