Photokina - The Fuji Stand: The FinePix W3, F300 and X100

Photokina is the world's biggest photographic and imaging trade show. It is being held in the Cologne Exhibition Centre, the Kölnmesse, from September 21st to the 26th, and a team from Wex Photographic have travelled to Germany to see what new and exciting products are being announced and on display at Photokina.

For the benefit of any of you that are interested in the Photokina happenings, but didn't want to travel to Germany, weren't able to go to Germany, or, like some of us, had to stay behind and work while your colleagues went to Germany, we will be updating you with all the latest goings-on via the WEX blog and Twitter. What's more, in an exciting new venture for WEX, we will be bringing you a visitor's-eye view of some of the stands and products in the form of WEX TV video clips!

The Fuji FinePix W3 Real 3D camera

As anyone who's taken children to the cinema recently will know, 3D is taking over the world! It started in cinemas, moved on to TVs, and is now becoming established in the photographic world, with consumer level 3D camera becoming increasingly available. Fuji were one of the first compact camera manufacturers to fully embrace the 3D future, and with the new FinePix W3 they are reinforcing their position as one of the pioneers of 3D photography.

In this video, the Wex Photographic Team at Photokina talks to Theo Georghiades from Fuji to find out all about the exciting new FinePix W3 Real 3D camera. Theo talks us through the controls, functions and how the W3 offers both incredible real 3D images and clever 2D photo performance.

The Fuji FinePix F300 and X100 digital compact cameras

Fuji are still very much progressing their range of regular 2D digital compact cameras and were keen to show these off to us at Photokina too.

In this video the Wex Photographic team visit the Fuji stand at Photokina and speak to Theo Gerohiades about two of their new FinePix cameras, the F300 with its second generation EXR sensor, and the "coming soon" retro styled X100 digital compact cameras.
