The Pro Version
Designed for more advanced users who require their own specific custom adjustments, the Pro version is a step above the standard ColorChecker Display. It offers infinite control of white point, luminance, contrast ratio, gamma and more. There’s profile optimisation that allows you to create unique patch sets for optimal results and an Ambient Light Smart Control for measurements, compensation and ongoing monitoring of ambient lighting conditions over time. As well as this, there’s an Automatic Display Control (ADC) that will adjust your display’s hardware to speed up the process and eliminate manual adjustments. All of which are accompanied by display quality checks and trending over time for optimal calibration. Finally, the Pro version offers PANTONE spot colour optimisation, Broadcast Video Standard support, and multiple monitor and workgroup profiling.
Calibration and Iterative Profiling
This unit has been designed for colour perfectionists. Whether you’re an enthusiast or professional, complete colour accuracy is integral for an efficient workflow. For example, you need to know that what you have seen on your monitor is what you’re going to see once you edited and print your image. The ColourChecker Display Pro uses advanced technologies to provide impressively accurate colour and tones, including Flare Correction that measures and adjusts your display profile for reduced contrast ratios caused by flare light, an ambient light measurement that automatically determines the optimum display luminance, and the scope to profile multiple monitors for accuracy across your workflow. Multiple Monitor Profiling: Colour match up to four separate displays for colour accuracy across all your workflow.
In addition, to monitor and laptop calibration, the ColourChecker Display Pro can calibrate your projector so that display your images on large scale without fear of reduced quality. It’s as easy as setting up your monitor profile, taking in all room condition, projected colours, screen solar and room lighting.
