High-Powered Hybrid AF

The CR-N500 performs well in low-light conditions, making use of its intuitive contrast AF with high-speed phase-detection. Fitted with a unique external sensor to measure the distance to the subject, the CR-N500 is capable of then comparing the point of focus with that determined by the Contrast AF system. To ensure smooth, accurate control, the CR-N500 incorporates a high-precision drive mechanism. This allows for slight adjustments to be made to Pan and Tilt movements at variable speed via a controller such as the RC-IP100, or even a mobile device such as a tablet over Wi-Fi.
