The Canon EF 14mm f2.8 L II USM Lens is exacting professional's ultra-wide angle lens and uses UD and aspherical elements for paramount image quality and sharpness across frame. Thanks to its maximum f/2.8 aperture lens ensures great low light performance. lens features an integral lens hood and is designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering lens. EF14mm lens is a specialised, professional L-series lens and offers an impressive 114° angle of view when being used on a full frame camera (EG. 5D Mk II, EOS 6D). lens features a USM (ultra-sonic motor) motor for fast and near silent autofocus and full-time manual focus override is possible via large rubber ring.

A special perspective
The EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM goes beyond human perspective, taking in a massive 114° field of view. A corrected, rectilinear design make this an ideal lens for architecture, interiors and landscapes. its ultra wide-angle nature gives a strong separation between foreground and background elements.
The L-series is Canon's flagship professional lens range, representing the best in precision-designed EF optics. L-series lenses combine superior performance with superlative handling, and are resistant to dust and moisture.
Fast maximum aperture
A maximum aperture of f/2.8 allows photographers to shoot hand-held in low-light conditions without worrying about blur from camera shake.
Aspherical and UD elements
For optimum visual performance the lens incorporates aspherical elements to correct spherical aberrations, and Super UD (ultra-low dispersion) elements to eliminate chromatic aberrations. The result is crisp, high-contrast images that are free from distortion all the way across the frame.
A ring-type ultrasonic motor drives autofocus extremely quickly, and in near silence. Excellent holding torque ensures the point of focus is reached accurately, without overshooting. Furthermore, full-time manual override is available, making it possible to adjust focus without leaving AF mode.
Super Spectra coating
Super Spectra coatings help ensure accurate colour balance and high contrast. They also suppress flare and ghosting by absorbing light that would otherwise be reflected off internal lens elements and the camera's digital sensor.
A circular aperture delivers smooth, even-looking background blur - ideal for isolating subjects against a blurred background.
The EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM features an integrated lens hood that protects the front lens element and improves contrast. Its petal shaped design prevents vignetting. A lens cap and soft case are also supplied.
