45-point All Cross-type AF System
The 77D offers professional-level control and convenience for the user with its optical viewfinder and 45-point all cross-type autofocus system. These features combined means that you will see exactly what the lens sees in any lighting condition. Equally, the autofocus system is quick and accurate which can help when trying to take photos of fast moving subjects like at sports matches and even with your family!
Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus with Phase-detection
In addition to the 45-point all cross-type autofocus, the Dual Pixel CMOS really shows off this camera’s speed. Using this system helps achieve the world’s fastest autofocus speed of 0.03 seconds. That is fast! This is utilised when using the camera’s Live View feature on the rear touchscreen when taking photos and videos. The phase-detection software is used in this process by quickly and accurately determining where you subject is and how far away they are by examining phases of different colours in the light.
DIGIC 7 Image Processor
When it comes to processing power, the 77D has been fitted with a DIGIC 7 Image Processor which enables the camera have a fast operation to capture high quality images even when in low light conditions. When using your ISO settings, the image processing that the DIGI 7 offers will help ensure high quality images that have minimal grain. The ISO range in the 77D ranges from ISO 100 to 25600.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
