Flash Battery Packs and Cables
Any photographer making use of flash extensively should consider the Canon CP-E4N Compact Battery Pack. With eight AA batteries, it will help the flash to recharge even quicker and will give you more flashes between battery changes.
This battery holder enables you to power your Metz 45 CL/CT 1, 3, 4, 5 or 45 CL-4 Digital flashgun via six AA batteries, instead of the normal battery pack. Handy in a pinch when you're low on power! Note that rechargable AA NiMh and NiCd are not suitable for use with the holder.
Designed for use with the Nikon SB-900 flashgun the SD-9 is a high capacity external battery pack which can be used with either 4 or 8 AA batteries. It increases both the number of flashes and the recycling time of the unit (to as little as 1 second). Note batteries must be in place in the flashgun for the unit to function.
The SD-800 adds a fifth AA battery to the SB-800 flash system. The flashgun is designed to operate upon 6 volts of power, which is the output of 4 alkaline batteries. NiMh batteries, however, have a lower specified voltage which ideally requires 5 units to deliver ideal voltage to the flashgun.
