FAQs:
What edits can I make in the Instax app before printing?
The companion app lets you crop photos, apply filters, create collages, and add text before sending them to the printer. You can also add from more than 1600 stickers and emojis, so those elements become part of the finished physical print. This means you make the layout decisions on your phone rather than after the photograph has printed.
What does QR Print Mode do?
QR Print Mode places a scannable QR code directly onto the physical photograph. That code can link to content including an audio message, web page, text or invitation. When someone scans the code with their phone, they can move from the printed photograph to the linked digital content. It is a useful way to put information alongside an image without covering the photograph itself with large amounts of text.
What is the difference between Instax-Rich and Instax-Natural modes?
Instax-Rich mode renders photographs with punchier, more vibrant colour. If you switch to Instax-Natural, the printer instead produces softer tones with a more film-like appearance. The two settings therefore change how the same phone image is rendered before it becomes a physical print. You can select the look that better suits the photograph rather than applying the same colour treatment every time.
How does the Link WIDE 2 print a photograph from a video?
The Link WIDE 2 can take an individual still frame from a recorded video and turn it into an instant print. You select the moment you want from the clip rather than needing a separate still photograph of the same scene. The app can then prepare the chosen frame for printing. This lets you recover a favourite moment captured only as video and turn it into a physical copy.
