Double Nano-GI Coating
The coating has been applied to the lens elements and alters the refractive index between the glass and air in order to better suppress lens flare and ghosting for diagonal incident light.
Silent and fast autofocus
The lens uses a linear motor autofocus system that will deliver a smooth and near-silent performance. This feature can be especially beneficial to video applications and when working in noise-sensitive areas.
Advanced construction
The build quality of this lens is something to write home about. The magnesium alloy lens barrel provides a completely weather sealed build and a 12-24mm equivalent focal length range in 35mm format.
