It's What's Inside That Counts
The Hawke Endurance ED binocular range has been beautifully crafted with the highest-quality materials resulting in beautiful image reproduction. As light travels through the advanced lens structure, there's the use of Extra low-dispersion (ED) glass that corrects chromatic aberrations that can occur which cause which in turn produces truer colour representation and significantly less colour fringing. The light then hits the compact, high-quality phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms that reduce internal light dispersion whilst improving contrast and colour fidelity. Anti-reflection fully multi-coatings have been applied to the optics that further improve colour rendition, contrast and the overall brightness of the image you see.
Ready, Set, Go!
The internal lens structure is, of course, an amazing feature. But the chassis and external design of this series of binos are what allow for ultimate versatility and flexibility in almost any environment. The chassis is made of an impact, corrosion, temperature-resistant polycarbonate material that is the base for the bino shell. There are textured rubber armouring with deep palm grooves that are not only slip-resistant but look stylish, too. What's more, is that the binoculars are nitrogen-filled which makes for effective water and fog proofing, perfect for when the weather takes a turn. And for when you want to put your binos away, there's a stay-on, flip-down objective lens cover that will protect the front elements from debris and scratches.

FAQs:
What do the different numbers refer to?
The first number refers to the strength of the magnification, and the second refers to the size of the objective lens (measured in millimetres across the lens.) The size of the objective lens determines how much light can enter the binocular, so the larger the number, the more light can pass through the lens resulting in a brighter image.
What's best for me?
This really comes down to your personal preference - Are you viewing subjects in low light? Is portability a main factor in your choice? How far away are the subjects you're going to be viewing? All of these questions need to be asked before you can decide which to go for. A more portable pair often will have a wider field of view and are great for panning/tracking subjects, whereas if you want to have a large magnification to view distant objects, these binos will be large and heavy.
