The Interfit INT411 is an infrared flash trigger unit which sits on the camera hotshoe. The wide angle IR beam will trigger IR sensitive flash units when the shutter is released, removing the need for a physical sync cord; resulting in less studio clutter. Although suitable for use with most cameras, it is not suitable for use on Sony and Minolta hotshoes. The beam has a maximum range of 10 metres, and utilises AA batteries. An power-saving function will turn the device on when not in use, reducing the risk of inadvertently draining the batteries.
