An easy and inexpensive way to increase the abilities of your lens without the expense of purchasing and carrying another telephoto lens, Kenko Teleplus converters are small and easy to carry in your camera bag.All Kenko converters have genuine Gate Array IC (Integrated Circuitry) which means that the converter maintains signal integrity between the camera body and lens in the same way an original manufacturer's converter would. What's more, the DGX converters will also display the effective focal lengths in your viewfinder, so if you're using the 1.4x converter on a 200mm lens, a focal length of 280mm will be displayed. The PRO 300 family are designed for prime telephoto lenses of 100mm or above, but work best with lenses of 200-500mm. The PRO 300 teleconverters can also be used with zoom lenses, but are not recommended for lenses with a zoom range starting below 50mm.
Please note: Kenko teleconverters are not compatible with Canon EF-S lenses.
