Camera Cage with Top Handle
The Kondor Blue Base Rig is designed for professional filmmakers looking to customise their setups when using Sony A1 to A7 series cameras. The topside handle allows you to create a full cinema setup with your Sony mirrorless camera for creative shots with movement. The set includes a full cage with a remote trigger top handle, baseplate, and other accessories for creating multiple mounting points. The cage maintains access to your camera’s controls and ports and features a quick-release Arca Swiss plate system. Built into the rig is a start/stop button and support for both Panasonic and Sony LANC protocols to provide compatibility with most cameras such as Canon, Sony, and Panasonic. The cage is compatible with Sony A1, A7, A7R IV, A7 IV, and A7S III cameras.
Multiple Accessory Attachment
The ARRI/Manfrotto 501 compatible universal baseplate is designed for 4K/6K cages and features an ARRI-standard dovetail to support 15mm LWS rods. It has a side-load camera plate system to allow you to easily mount your camera from the top rather than having to slide it in from the front. There are five 3/8” threaded holes with ARRI Locator Pins for attaching anti-twist accessories such as mini quick-release plates. Over eighteen 1/4" threaded holes provide a wide range of options for mounting accessories to aid in creating a professional setup. The cold shoe mount on top of the cage can easily accommodate a microphone or wireless receiver. You can add multiple accessories and custom-configure the rig for any production.

What is the E-mount Cine Cap used for?
The aluminium E-mount Cine Body Cap is used to protect your camera’s sensor and mount, designed specifically for Sony E-mount cameras. It features engraved mounting indicators for easy installation and its anodized finish protects the cap from scratches.
What optional accessories can be used with this rig?
The Kondor Blue Base Rig is compatible with almost limitless accessories: extension arms, handgrips, other baseplates and quick-release plates.
How many cold shoe mounts are there?
There is a total of three cold shoe mounts available for accessory mounting, one in the cage and two in the top handle.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR (representative) on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
