This ultra-wide focal range is achieved with an advanced optical structure that is comprised of 13 glass elements, arranged into 9 groups, including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements. These specialised lenses significantly reduce the appearance of spherical and chromatic aberrations for clearer, sharper images with more accurate colour rendition. In addition, the rectilinear design of this lens renders scenes with straighter vertical lines and minimal distortion, resulting in a more true-to-life image.

Versatile and Flexible

As with all Laowa lenses, they're designed to be rigid and durable and this one is no different. This ultra-wide-angle 7.5mm focal length provides a 15mm full-frame 35mm format focal length and is an excellent lens for landscape, architecture and astrophotography. However, with its advanced lens structure and being full manual, it allows for a close minimum focus of just 12cm, making it suitable for creative close up wide-angle photography. This lens also has a wide and bright maximum f2 aperture which not only benefits working in low-light or difficult lightning conditions but also provides creative control of depth-of-field. The front element of the lens sees a hydrophobic Frog Eye lens coating (FEC) that repels liquids, making them immediately roll off, leaving your lens free to continue capturing stunning images.
