Limelite Studiolite SL255DMX Light Bank

The Limelite Studiolite DMX255 Panel has two tubes and produces up to 3400 Lux of continuous lighting power: Impressive for such a portable and compact unit and ideal for video and still photographers working on-set or in smaller studios.

The smallest and most portable of the Studiolite DMX range, the two tube SL255DMX produces up to 3400 Lux (@1m) of colour balanced daylight or tungsten light.
The centre mounted yoke allows the unit to be used in the traditional horizontal position and also at 90° and 45°.
The Studiolite DMX range of fluorescent light banks has been designed to meet the exacting needs of imaging professionals working in photography or video. Quick to set up and simple to use, Studiolite DMX lights are the very definition of plug & go.
Available in three sizes, the two, four or eight tube models use the same long life 55W 5400K or 3000K compact lamps for versatility. The highly efficient reflector has been designed to maximise the available light and creates a remarkably even light.

Stay cool
The thermal design and ventilation of the Studiolite DMX ensures very cool running, with stable colour temperature and light output over long operation times without fans. Cool running fluorescent tubes produce little heat so the Studiolite is comfortable for lighting people & perfect for still life.

Lighting control
Optional accessories such as barn-doors and grids slot quickly into the front of the units to shape or control light to your will.

Digital Precision
With full DMX in and out control, Studiolites can be controlled remotely or simply from the onboard digital control panel dimming from 100% to 0% and each unit can become a master control for banks of Studiolites linked together via standard RJ45 ethernet/DMX cables. Operating Studiolite DMX lightbanks is quick, easy and intuitive. For photographers the power output display can be easily switched from linear to f/stop units to make metering easy.

Built in ballast
Each Studiolite unit features a built-in 100KHz electronic ballast to regulate the voltage input and ensure flicker free operation. This makes Studiolite units particularly useful on location where the quality of electricity can be variable.

Accessorise
Honeycomb grids, Barn-Door sets and filter frames slot quickly into the front of Studiolite units for easy creativity on the fly.
