Software Update

The October 2021 software update brings a range of new features and optimisation that improves user experience and efficiency. This update includes a complete redesign of the user interface with more intuitive control and customisation. It’s easier to navigate pages and workspaces through the UI or the device itself. There’s an updated setup wizard as well as specific status notifications if an application is not connected or set up correctly.

There’s now a Simplified Profile that’s designed with live streamers in mind and those who may not need all the extended functionality. This eliminates workspaces, bringing all actions into one profile for easier navigation. It’s also now easier to link plugins that require authentication to personal accounts, too.

Finally, there are several major upgrades to different operating systems including Capture One integration for MacOS and a new native integration for vMix (Windows) and plug-in for Ecamm (MacOS). Furthermore, there’s also an updated plug-in for the latest version (Version 11) of Lightroom Classic that includes compatibility with the new Masking Engine.

The Loupedeck Live's tactile controls allow you to arrange and adjust the sound in real-time in addition to giving you the necessary tools to compose audio. The intuitive controls utilise premium dials that provide you with haptic feedback of incremental changes.

You can also use the Loupedeck community to discover new custom profiles created by them, and you can share yours to help fellow creatives.

Compatible Software and Customisable Profiles

The Loupedeck Live comes with two creative plugins, unlimited custom profiles to fit your workflow, and the All Live-streaming functionality. The accompanying pre-made profiles include Streamlabs and OBS studio, Twitch, and Spotify. You can create, download, and share custom profiles for any software. This includes applications that are natively supported. Please note that custom profiles utilise keyboard shortcuts and macros; whereas, plugins use API-based actions in addition to those. Available software includes Adobe Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC, Premiere Pro CC, Illustrator, Audition, After Effects CC, and Final Cut Pro X.
