Lecia Dicomar Lens

The built-in Leica lens - which offers a 25mm wide-angle, 24x optical zoom and a fast face-detection AF - delivers high-performance along with outstanding resolution and contrast. This is the world's widest angle that facilitates wide-angle shooting with very little distortion and video recording in narrow spaces. Not to mention, you don't need a wide conversion lens to achieve this. The lens covers a range from 25.0mm wide-angle to 600mm ultra-telephoto at UHD/FHD. The included i.Zoom function also stretches that zooming capability to max 48x FHD (32x UHD). Distinctive nuances along with subtle shading delivered by the lens are no surprise and uphold the renowned Lecia standards. The resulting images are sharp, crisp and broadcast ready.

Broadcast-Quality

The 1/2.5-type imaging sensor is capable of increasing the readout speeds, opening the door for large-volume 4K recording at fast 60fps/50fps, whereas the Venus engine ensures broadcast-quality outputs. Not only does the Venus engine support 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output, but it also allows for huge volumes of 4K data to be processed quickly with high-speed LSI processes. Furthermore, this results in an image with reduced noise. The footage stays sharp and blur-free thanks to the 5-axis hybrid O.I.S (Optical Image Stabiliser) that provides powerful compensation; even for rotational blurring and during high/low-angle recording. With three modes to choose from; Normal, Stable and Pan/Tilt, you can record in unstable conditions and still end up with exceptional quality image. To top things off, the camcorder offers versatile recording modes including high-efficiency HEVC 4:2:0 10-bit (4K/60P) and 4:2:2 10-bit (4K/30P).

Pro-Camera, Pro-Work

There are a plethora of pro-camera features and image adjustment functions including double SD card slots; 24-bit linear PCM audio recording capability; detachable and adjustable handle with a built-in LED as well as 3.5-type (2,760K-dot) LCD Monitor and EVF offering simultaneous display. There are a total of 38 assignable functions. These can be allocated to 12 user buttons for customised operation of the camera. Other creative capabilities such as super-slow-motion in 120/100FPS (FHD, MOV); IR shooting for filming in dark places; Skin Tone Detail and 8-Mode Gamma enhance the camera's image further. The 16-Axis Independent Colour Correction Function, of which all of the 16 image phases can be individually adjusted, provide creative image rendering and colour matching of multiple cameras as long as they are used under the same lighting conditions.

Connectivity and Wireless Control

You can wirelessly control the Panasonic AG-CX10 camcorder from a smart device such as a smartphone with the HC ROP app. It can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play and is capable of selecting a camera to control from up to eight cameras. Equipped with both wired and wireless (A 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi module) remote control, there is no need for an additional wireless LAN module. The camcorder also comes with a remote terminal including a 2.5mm super mini jack. It allows for remote control of camcorder's iris, zoom, focus and REC start/stop functions. Full HD Live streaming is also supported; making the camcorder ideal for live coverage of events and live streaming of breaking news. This function is compatible with YouTube, Facebook and much more. You can conveniently record the live streaming footage to one of the SD cards. There is also the 3G-SDI output terminal (BNC connector, 5CFV) which can transmit FHD 1080/60p, 1080/50p signals up to 100m via a coaxial cable. Finally, the preinstalled NDI/HX mode offers an easy IP connection without the need for an external cover. The IP connection allows you to make the AG-CX10 part of a larger system including the Live Production Center and Panasonic's PTZ cameras.
