Pentax's 50mm f1.4 FA* SDM AW Lens comes as the perfect prime lens for portraiture photography. It's part of the esteemed Pentax Star Series of lenses and features a wide, bright and fast f1.4 aperture that offers an incredible control of depth of field, superior low-light performance and the ability to create stunningly smooth and pleasing bokeh. The lens features multiple lens coatings that which not only help to protect the lens from water and grease, but also help provide clarity and rich colour within the images taken. These include Aero Bright Coating II and HD Coatings which reduce ghosting and flare and the SP coating which repels water and grease. The lens's autofocus is powered by an Ultrasonic Motor SDM which is fast, accurate and quiet. Finally, whilst designed for use on full-frame K-mount cameras, the lens is compatible with APS-C cameras and when mounted, provides an equivalent 76.5mm focal length.
