FAQs:
Which cameras are the SmallRig 4819 eyecup compatible with?
It is compatible with the Sony Alpha 7C II and Sony Alpha 7CR.
How does the eyecup improve the viewfinder viewing?
The eyecup blocks excess ambient light from entering the viewfinder. This reduces reflections and glare, making the electronic finder easier to see outdoors or in bright light.
Does the eyecup block the hot shoe or camera controls?
No. It installs into the viewfinder without blocking the hot shoe, displays or ports. You can keep it fitted when using compatible hot-shoe accessories.
How does the lanyard work?
The included lanyard attaches to the camera’s triangular ring. When the eyecup is removed, it stays tethered to the camera, minimising the chance of being misplaced.
Does the eyecup protect the camera viewfinder?
Yes. Once fitted, it adds a light protective layer around the viewfinder. This helps guard against scratches, knocks and light impacts during handling.
