The built-in BIONZ X image processor provides faster processing up to 3x quicker than previous versions to ensure images are sharp and Full HD movies run smoothly. What's more, one-touch connectivity is possible via built-in Wi-Fi and NFC and various camera apps can also be downloaded through Sony's PlayMemories App to further enhance the camera's functionality. In addition to the above features the HX400 offers full manual control, Full HD movie recording, a 3.0" LCD screen, GPS, Picture Effect, lock-on AF, a multi-interface shoe, and 360 Intelligent Sweep Panorama.
