To maintain a premium audio experience across a range of camcorders and DSLR cameras, the URX-P41D Receiver also now features a variable output level control of ±12dB. Combined with the HIGH GAIN mode designed to boost low inputs, the URX-P41D Receiver expands the capabilities of your existing gear so you can get the results you need from your kit.

The Sony URX-P41D Dual Channel Portable Receiver has developed on the success of its predecessor for a seamless introduction into the UWP-D ecosystem of professional audio gear. When used with the UTX-B40 bodypack transmitter, pairing is quick and easy, allowing you to focus on capturing the action. To further extend the longevity of Sony products, this URX-P41D Receiver is also backwards compatible with existing microphones (UTX-B03/UTX-M03/UTX-P03) using the IR Sync feature. Simply use the IR port to select IR SYNC MODE from the utility menu.

By including the NFC SYNC feature, Sony ensures a uniquely quick and convenient pairing experience. With one touch, the URX-P41D receiver uses its two antennas to secure channels and compare RF signals before automatically selecting the strongest signal for output. These two independent receiver sections ensure stable, dropout-free reception for truly stable audio.

And if that wasn’t enough stability, Sony has also introduced dual-channel recording to the URX-P41D receiver. Recording the same audio from different inputs means that the lav getting knocked or the boom getting dropped will no longer impede your audio performance.

The Sony URX-P41D Dual Channel Portable Receiver is compatible with a range of compact mirrorless Sony cameras and Sony camcorders such as the Sony HXR-MC2500, PXW-Z280, PXW-Z190 and more. An optional shoe adaptor is also available for improved compatibility with other camcorders and models.

Can this receiver be used with a wired microphone?

The Sony URX-P41D Dual Channel Portable Receiver has an additional mic input for connecting wired microphones. The audio mixing function inside the receiver is also available when using a wired microphone.
