Each tripod features a multi-angle central column that moves 360° in any direction, which is accompanied by the included VEO+ MA1 which converts the centre column into a multi-mount for accessories. An advanced leg system sees 3 preset legs which combined with Vanguards Rapid Set twist locks, allows for smooth and quick transitions, and the deploying of your tripod in a matter of seconds. This series afforded a redesigned ball head which offers a quick release plate mount pan function in addition to the standard base pan. Multi-Angle Central Column

This tripod has various features which help cater to all sorts of applications and types of users. One of which is the Multi-Angle Central Column - the MACC. This feature allows the central column to be moved in almost 360° in any direction in just seconds, helping you adapt to your scene. Building on this invaluable addition, Vanguard has included their VEO+ MA1 which allows the MACC to be used as a multi-mount. This means you can attach additional accessories to enhance your shoot e.g. you can easily attach a microphone or flash. Vanguard knows what it's like to be a photographer where you may need to replicate a shot and for this, they've added a scale on the central column, which together with the other markings on the tripod, it's easy to accurately replicate images.

Advanced Leg System

In addition to the MACC, this series of tripods feature an innovative leg lock button that can be used to lock your leg position but also make use of the three easy-set leg angles at 23°, 50° and 80°. These preset angles and leg lock mechanism makes for quick and smooth transitions from the maximum tripod height, all the way down to the lowest 1cm, macro height level. Landscapes and close up shots are easily captured with the 3T+ tripod series.

But there's more. Each leg features Vanguards "Rapid Set, Easy Clean Twist Locks" which with as little as a half turn to lock or release, you can deploy your tripod in seconds. This, combined with the leg angle locks results in rapid deployment, allowing you to capture each and every shot. And for those times where you do not want the full tripod setup, there's a marked tripod leg that can be detached along with the central column to create a strong and stable monopod.

Finally, tripods need to be maintained to ensure optimum performance. For this, Vanguard has come up with an intelligent design that allows you to quickly and easily dismantle the legs for cleaning. The result of this is that your tripod stays in peak condition and will last longer.

The Redesigned Dual Axis Ball Head

To accompany the VEO 3T+ tripod series launch, Vanguard has produced two unique and intelligent Arca-compatible VEO 2 Dual-Axis Ball Heads - The VEO BH-110S and VEO BH-160S. These advanced ball heads include a pan function on the quick release plate mount in addition to the standard pan you'd see on other ball heads on the base. This added panning motion makes for enhanced precision when framing your shoot.

What's the difference between the 3T+ and 3+ series?

The main difference is that the newer 3T+ series is designed specifically for travel, whereas the original 3+ series are full-sized tripods. With this, the 3T+ series overall has a lower maximum height but are much smaller, lighter and more portable.
