It features a foam core of 20PPi open-cell foam that gives outstanding high-frequency performance while offering enhanced wind-noise reduction. The 30mm synthetic fur has been used in the construction due to its acoustic properties. The end cap of this windshield is crafted from neoprene with attractive, soft black leather trim for a snug fit. This 96mm windscreen helps to remove unwanted sounds that are picked up including the breathing sound from air moving across the mic. It also protects the mic components from moisture, like saliva and breath.
