Based on the design of its bigger brothers, the Hadley Digital is designed to carry a DSLR with a standard lens. It has a non-removable insert and features an adjustable single Quick Release strap into a brass buckle, bellowed front pocket with press-stud fastening, and double darted main flap. The fully adjustable shoulder sling is sewn under a leather side patch, which provides the facility to attach AVEA pouches.

What sorts of products can the Billingham Hadley Digital bag hold?

The Billingham Hadley Digital bag can fit multiple sizes of devices and accessories.

It can hold a Small to Medium DSLR (without battery grip) with one small-to-medium lens attached and possibly a spare lens. It could also hold almost any mirrorless camera with a small to medium lens attached with a possible spare. It would fit a Leica M10 with 1 lens attached and another to the side. Similarly, it will hold a compact medium format camera with a small-to-medium lens. Lastly, the bag will easily hold a small foldable drone such as the DJI Mavic Air 2 or Mavic Mini 2.

Does this bag need re-proofing to keep it waterproof?

No. The fabric is made of 3 layers - the middle layer is butyl rubber. Water cannot pass through this butyl rubber layer. As long as you don't get a hole in the fabric or expose it to harsh chemicals (for example in a washing machine) the fabric should remain waterproof for many years. There is no need to apply re-proofing.

Which end pockets fit on this bag? How do they attach?

AVEA 3, AVEA 5 and AVEA 7 End Pockets fit on this bag - other sizes do not fit. On the back of the AVEAs are two leather straps - they thread down through the leather side panels of the Hadley Digital. For extra security metal pop-clips then clip to hold the leather straps in place at the bottom.

Please note that the End Pockets are not included with the bag.

Does this bag have a removable padded insert?

No, the padding inside the Hadley Digital is sewn into the walls of the bag and is therefore not removable. However, the padded dividers that attach inside with Velcro are removable.
