The Blackmagic Micro Converter Bidirectional SDI/HDMI is a compact USB-powered video converter that lets you connect between a consumer HDMI and professional SDI equipment. It comes in both 3G-SDI and 12G-SDI connections, and can work with SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. This bidirectional converter can simultaneously convert SDI to HDMI and vice versa.

    How can the converter be powered?

    The Micro Converter can be powered via the USB-C connection from the same computer or television for which the video is being converted. It can also be powered via an AC power supply, supporting 100 V to 240 V. Smartphone chargers or rechargeable battery power banks can also be used to charge the converter when you are on the set.

    Which operating systems are compatible with this?

    The Blackmagic Micro Converter is compatible with Windows 10 and macOS 10.14.15 or later.
