Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K | Hands-On First Look

Kriss finally gets to try out Blackmagic Design’s new Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. In this video, he shares a few test shots, and talks through the camera’s headline features and his experience filming with it.

The Knife Artist | Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K Test Shoot

Kriss used the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K to film this test project The Knife Artist. Every shot was filmed in 4K DCI in ProRes 4:2:2 using the ‘film’ picture profile. The same Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 OIS lens was used throughout, and the project was filmed entirely using the workshop’s existing light sources. The Knife Artist was edited and graded using DaVinci Resolve Studio, the license of which is included in every BMPCC 4K purchase.
