Does travel photography have to be expensive and time-consuming? We don't think so, so we tasked travel photographer Matt Parry with proving us right




Matt’s mission? Visit three countries in three days, with a budget of less than £500, and take spectacular travel images along the way. He's chosen a road trip through the Balkans and will be talking through his approach to travel photography, his kit choices and some of the considerations, techniques and challenges a travel photographer might face. 


Episode 1: Bosnia and Herzegovina


Following a sunset shoot from a rather precarious vantage point, Matt and Kriss' first stop is the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A walk around the city provides ample opportunity for street photography and results in several impromptu encounters.


Episode 2: Dubrovnik, Croatia


this time he's in Dubrovnik, Croatia, filming location for Game of Thrones as well as a beautiful city in its own right. Learn his tips and tricks for navigating the heaving crowds of tourists to achieve perfect travel images.


Episode 3: Montenegro


This time he arrives at the town of Kotor in Montenegro, a gorgeous port town with rippling blue waters, fascinating architecture and an abundance of cute cats. Learn his tips and tricks for great travel images, as well as the kit he uses to capture his shots.
