Development announcement – the LUMIX GH6 is coming

Panasonic’s long-awaited next step in the GH line-up is on the way. Alongside the new GH5 II which gives some nice updates against the original, the new GH6 is going to be a whole new level.

At the moment we only know a few specifications but they are pretty exciting. It has been confirmed there will be a new sensor and image processing engine – I’m sure a lot of current users will be hoping for a few more megapixels! It will be able to shoot 4:2:2 10-bit Cinema 4K 50P with an unlimited record time. It will also be able to shoot 4:2:2 4K 120P high frame rate and in a variable frame rate as well as 10-bit 5.7K 50P.

All in all an incredibly exciting-sounding body, we can’t wait to hear more. If you also want to be first on the list to register your interest in the new LUMIX GH6, just pop your details in the form below and we’ll be in touch!

Don't forget, Panasonic also released the LUMIX GH5 II to find out more or to place a pre-order click here. You can also check out or first review on the GH5 II by visiting our YouTube channel.
