The Calumet Pro Series C8 (CF00885) Shutter Release Cable connects the Calumet Pro Series 4-Channel Wireless Transceiver Unit to Canon DSLRs, allowing the transceiver to be used as a wireless and/or wireless remote. The shutter on the transceiver unit is a single stage button - one press will focus and fire. Compatible with: Canon IV, 1D/MII, 1Ds MKII/III, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 5D/MKII, and 7D.

Calumet Pro Series C8 Shutter Release Cable for Calumet 4-CH Transceiver (CF00885)

The cable features a pre-trigger lock. When the locking switch is set to the 'on' position, a half-press of the shutter will occur within the camera. This will allow for faster shooting when used as a wireless remote. The cable will work in both single and continuous focus modes.
