The 1D X presents an 18.1MP full-frame CMOS sensor, a redesigned autofocus (AF) system and powerful new metering technology with 3 DIGIC processors, including 2 DIGIC 5+ image processors and a dedicated DIGIC 4 for metering and AF control to ensure correct exposure levels and improved AF tracking.The dual processors enable full-resolution continuous shooting of up to 12 frames per second (RAW) plus 14 frames per second in High Speed mode (18MP JPEG).
