The LP-E6NH battery adds 20% more capacity than older LP-E6N batteries. This enables and average capture of 490 shots on a single charge. This new battery can be charged in-camera via a USB-C connection (with 5V/1.5A power delivery) when used in the Canon R5 and R6 camera bodies, as well as the supplied battery charger that comes with the camera.
