FAQs:

How do I turn the red dot on?

The red dot “ON” button is a rheostat (a dimmer) that has to be rotated at least 15 degrees past the “ON” position to make it visible. It takes about 1 second for the light to turn on when turned to at least 30 degrees.

What is the lens diameter?

The finderscope has a lens diameter of 23mm.

What are the two adjustment knobs used for?

The two adjustment knobs, located on the side and underneath the finder, are used for the alignment of the finder. One knob controls the up-down motion of the red dot and the other controls the left-right motion.

Does the finder require realignment for every use?

Once the finder is aligned, it does not require any realignment unless it is dropped or bumped. It can also be easily taken off and reattached while preserving the alignment.
