Back to topUniversal 1.25" T-Adapter fits (drop in style) any type of telescope that uses a 1.25" focuser or visual back. A T-Adapter allows you to attach your 35mm SLR camera to the prime focus of your telescope or spotting scope. This arrangement is used for terrestrial photography and short exposure lunar and planetary photography. It can also be used for long exposure deep-sky photography when using a separate guide scope. Both a T-Adapter and T2 Mount are required to mount a 35mm SLR camera to your instrument.
Please note:
Some telescopes, especially "fast" refractors and most Newtonians, may not have enough focus travel to allow the photographic image to come to focus when used in prime focus mode. In these instances, we recommend using the Universal Barlow & T-Adaptor (#93640). This item will double the magnification, reducing the field of view, but "push the focus point out" and will allow the telescope to reach focus. Back to topProduct Specification
