What devices can be used with the DJI Mic?
The DJI Mic is compatible with cameras, smartphones, laptops, and desktop computers via either the Lightning or USB-C adapter. It can then also be used with the DJI Action 2 and DJI OM series products.
How does the Saftey Track function work?
The Safety Track function works post-activation, where a backup soundtrack will be recorded in -6dB. This is in case the main track gets distorted due to a sudden increase in source audio volume.
What is the difference between Mono and Stereo?
The DJI Mic supports two separate recording modes: Mono and Stereo. Mono records audio via one direct channel, whilst displaying a single level meter for output. In contrast, Stereo records dual audio from both transmitters via separate channels and then displays it over two level meters for output.
How long does it take to fully recharge the transmitters and receivers via the Charging Case? How long does it then take to charge the Charging Case itself?
It takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to fully charge the transmitters and receiver via the Charging Case. On top of this, it takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge the Charging Case.
Where is it best to mount the DJI Mic transmitters?
It is best to mount the DJI Mic transmitters along with the Back Clip to a shirt collar, or via the Clip Magnets. When standing the DJI Mic onto a flat surface, it is best to use the Cip Magnets to ensure that they are secure.
Does the DJI Mic implement a directional or omnidirectional pickup pattern?
The DJI Mic implements an omnidirectional pickup pattern. This relates to how this microphone is capable of recording less directional audio. This is classed as the most versatile and simplified form of mic pattern, as it enables audio recording from all directions - ideal for vlogging on the go, interviews, moving subjects, press conferences, ambience, and more.

Buy now pay later
The Buy Now Pay Later option comprises a 36 month loan following a six month deferral period.
During the six-month deferral period, it is possible to pay off the loan, either by way of a lump sum or in smaller amounts. If the loan is partially repaid within six months, the remaining interest will be adjusted to reflect the new balance. If the loan is fully repaid within the six-month deferral period, then no interest is payable, however, a £29 early settlement fee is payable in respect of repayments within these six months.
Following the six-month deferral period, Novuna Personal Finance will initiate a monthly direct debit payment for the remaining duration of the loan. Interest will be charged at a rate of 18.9% APR on outstanding balances (backdated to the first date of the loan). Novuna Personal Finance will send a reminder letter approximately one month before the six-month deferral period is due to elapse.
