The DJI RS Briefcase Handle (2022) is compatible with the DJI RS 3 Pro, the DJI RS 3, the DJI RS 2 and the DJI RSC 2.

What is Briefcase Mode?

Briefcase mode allows you to hold your RS device in a slim profile close to your body. To enter briefcase mode, you can simply tilt the gimbal on the roll axis 90 degrees to the left or right. This mode can be turned off in the gimbal app to stop automatic transformations.

How is the briefcase handle used?

Most gimbal grips attach beneath the mounted camera so that it can be held upright and moved around with ease. To afford more creative flexibility, the DJI Briefcase Handle (2022) attaches above the mounted camera, so users can hold their gimbal from above. This makes it easier for your camera to get closer to the ground and achieve some impressive low-angle shots.
