The Pavo 2x anamorphic cinema lenses are available with two different coatings. They are designed for filmmakers who want to create videos in widescreen format. This bundle includes the core 6 focal lengths: 28mm, 32mm, 40mm, 55mm, 75mm and 100mm, with a maximum aperture of T2.1 (T2.4 for 100mm) and uses 2x magnification, achieving so-called anamorphic imaging with an aspect ratio of 2.39:1 and a unique "waterfall" bokeh. This brand new series from DZOFILM, in an all-metal housing with a mix of black and space grey, is intended for medium—to high-budget productions. This range of lenses also allows you to work well with full-frame cameras when combined with the DZOFILM Marlin expanders.

Cinematic Artistry

Combining the Super 35 format and a 2x squeeze factor, the Pavo series lenses are true anamorphic lenses compatible with various cinema cameras and offer a seductive waterfall bokeh. The 2x squeeze factor offers a wider field of view that shows more details, resulting in a more dramatic depth of field that immerses viewers in a visually spectacular world while maintaining a harmonious and consistent visual style throughout the entire series.

Dual Flare

Thanks to the blue or neutral coating, Pavo lenses produce horizontal light reflections, creating fascinating images without compromising brilliance. In addition to the excellent classic barrel distortion of anamorphic lenses, the Pavo series is also characterised by minimal chromatic aberration even at large apertures and the reproduction of natural skin tones and vibrant colours.
