Ergotron’s patented Constant Force Technology is designed to minimise the effort needed to move your screen. No matter which way you lift, tilt or turn, a uniform force is applied throughout the range of motion. This innovative coiled-spring technology leapfrogs over conventional gas-spring technology commonly used today.

How does this attach to a desk?

The Ergotron LX Monitor Arm can be attached to your desk using either a Desk Clamp or Grommet Mount. The Desk Clamp attaches to surface edges 0.4" to 2.4" (10 to 60 mm) thick. The Grommet Mount attaches through surface holes 0.31" to 2" (8 to 50 mm) wide and up to 2.25" (57 mm) thick.

Can I use this arm to rotate my screen?

Yes. The Ergotron LX Monitor Arm benefits from 360° panning and rotation. It also has a tilt range of 70° backwards and 5° forward and can be lifted up to 33.0 cm in height.
