Built-in battery design for lighter rigs

The P6XL is designed around a built-in 22.2 Wh battery, removing the need for NP-F plates or external packs on the back of the monitor. This keeps the overall weight down to 332g and avoids the usual front-heavy balance you get when mounting a monitor on a small camera or gimbal. The internal battery lasts around two hours at full brightness, which is enough for most short setups, and charging is handled through the USB-C port, so it can be powered from a mains charger or power bank without extra accessories.

Bright 6-inch screen for outdoor shooting

The 6-inch IPS panel uses a Full HD 1920x1080 resolution with a 1200-nit backlight, which makes a noticeable difference when working outside. You can check focus and exposure without constantly shading the screen, and the included sunhood helps when working in direct sunlight. Wide viewing angles also make it easier to see the image when the monitor is mounted high, low, or off to one side of the camera.

Touchscreen control with full monitoring tools

The touchscreen interface allows quick access to exposure and focus tools without having to dig through buttons. Waveform, vectorscope, histogram, peaking and audio meters are all built in, so you can monitor signal levels directly from the monitor instead of relying on the camera display. The P6XL also supports screenshot capture and image overlay, letting you store a frame to USB and place it over the live image to check framing or alignment, which is useful when matching shots or keeping composition consistent between takes.

LUT support and HDR preview

The P6XL can load custom 3D LUT files through USB, allowing you to preview a graded look while recording in log profiles. Up to 32 LUTs can be stored, and the monitor also includes built-in De-log and HLG HDR modes to help judge contrast and colour more accurately on set. With these features, the P6XL makes it easier to match cameras or check the final look before recording.

4K HDMI input with audio monitoring

The monitor accepts HDMI signals up to 4K 30p and works with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras and video rigs. A 3.5 mm headphone output allows direct audio monitoring from the incoming signal, which is useful when the camera is mounted out of reach. The standard 1/4-inch mount and supplied hot-shoe adapter make it easy to position the monitor on cages, gimbals or cold-shoe mounts.
