Expanded Fujifilm HS-V5 Tethered Shooting Software Key Features:
“Camera Mode” and “PC” Mode
Camera Mode supports the simultaneous transfer of images to the computer for the display on the screen or saving on the PC when the camera is being handheld or setup on a tripod. The adjustment of exposure and other capture settings or activation of the shutter release is carried out from the camera. The PC mode on the other hand allows users to check the viewfinder image of a remotely-setup camera, operate the camera, and adjust its setting from the PC. This is done when all of the images taken are simultaneously transferred to the PC for display on the screen or saved on the PC. All adjustments to exposure and other shooting settings, and activation of the shutter release are carried on the computer rather than the camera.
Hyper-Utility 3 is an image browser facilitates easy image viewing, analysis, assessment, categorisation and organisation of images saved to the PC. The “image analysis” function has a histogram, highlight clipping warning as well as an EXIF data display. “Image Assessment” function presents two images side-by-side for convenient comparison. Finally “comparison/organisation” option uses markers. Please note that a USB2.0 cable needs to be used to connect the camera to the PC.
