This compact, lightweight light source weighs only 1.61 kg and is ideal for wedding shoots, videography and photojournalism. This daylight-balanced light can be used for both indoor and outdoor shoots, with a colour temperature of 5600 K (and a variance of 200 K). It features a white video light and offers high brightness with an accurate colour index.

Featured Light Adjustment Buttons

The rear part of the metal light source features an ON/OFF switch, an AC power socket, a Channel/Group button, a Knob/SET button, and an LCD panel. The power socket is used for an AC power supply and the channel/group button is used to change among the 16 channels and 6 groups. The knob dial also works as a SET button which can be used to regulate the brightness with minimal effort. The LCD panel shows all light adjustments.

Heat Dissipation

For long-term and seamless use, the video light comes with a heat sink and a built-in fan to regulate the working temperature. The temperature control function prevents the light from overheating and has excellent heat dissipation. The temperature can be monitored on the LCD panel, in both Celsius and Fahrenheit scales.

Varied Compatibility

The light has a Bowens style mount and is compatible with various modifiers/accessories that have Bowens style mount such as the included reflector. This varied compatibility ensures high flexibility and creativity for an even and neutral light quality. The light fixture mount is of a 5/8” receiver.

The R9 rating is above 80 and the TLCI rating is above 95. The dimmable light has a brightness adjustment of 10% to 100%.

Can a remote control be used to adjust the light settings?

An optional RC-A5 remote control can be used to control the light settings wirelessly. It allows wireless adjustment of colour and light intensity of a distance less than 20 metres. It has 16 channels and 6 groups for further setups to avoid any interference. The supported wireless frequency is 433 MHz and weighs only 43 grams.

The video light runs on 100-240 VAC and delivers an output power of 60 W.

How does the channel/group button work?

Once you have turned on the power switch and adjusted the light to the required brightness, press the CH/GRP button and rotate the knob to change the channel or group settings. You can press the SET button to confirm the selected settings. When you press the CH/GRP button, the first adjustable setting is of groups and pressing the button one more time enables you to change the channel settings. The same operations can be performed via the wireless remote control as well.
