The hähnel BatteryGrip HC-50D Infrapro, for Canon DSLR EOS 50D, 40D, 30D and 20D now with a built-in infrared remote control receiver and remote control transmitter included in the packaging. Power is doubled through multiple power sources. One or two Li-Ion batteries, 6 AA Mignon alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries can be used. The output to the camera is regulated by a sophisticated built-in power management system. BatteryGrip Infrapro allows for vertical shutter release as well as aperture and shutter speed adjustments.
The Infrapro BatteryGrip is specially designed for digital SLRs without built-in infrared remote control. The infrared receiver integrated into the BatteryGrip has a range of approx. 6m.
The Remote control transmitter (included in the pack) provides autofocus before shutter release and continuous shutter release or bulb function for as long as the button remains pressed.
Designed to lower the point of gravity with the BatteryGrip in place below the camera body, camera handling is improved, especially when long focal lenses are used. Additionally, the stylish BatteryGrip matches perfectly with the camera body.
Equipped with a storage compartment for the camera battery door when BatteryGrip is in use.

Vertical Shutter Release
The Pro Range Grips are fitted with innovative vertical shutter release, making shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally.
The vertical shutter release gives stability and a second set of controls, which exactly mimic the camera's original controls, allowing for vertical shutter release as well as aperture and shutter speed adjustments.
