One of the most-requested products, the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition comes with a 1-inch lens that captures incredible 360-degree footage. Co-engineered with high-end camera manufacturer Leica, the new 360 lens features dual 1-inch CMOS sensors that deliver an outstanding dynamic range and spectacular image quality.

The lens shoots up to 6K 6144 x 3160 resolution at 30 frames per second, which can either be used to shoot immersive 360 videos or shot and reframed as a flat video to share on multiple platforms. A larger lens also means that the camera is capable of shooting stunning footage in low-light environments. Not just used for video, the lens can also take stills from the 360 lens that, when seamlessly stitched together, create 21MP 360 stills.

Whilst this 1-Inch 360 Edition is perfect for capturing crips 360 shots, it is also designed to shoot any action-packed sequence. The interchangeable lens design lets you swap from the 360 lens to the included wide-angle lens for stunning 5.3K resolution footage. The camera is packed with incredible features to make shooting and editing an effortless process. FlowState Stabilisation uses a proprietary image stabilisation algorithm and 6-axis stabilisation to deliver smooth videos, and the 360 Horizon Lock makes sure the horizon will always be level no matter what angle your camera is at.

A new vertical battery base provides an increased 1350mAh of power to last any production and the camera is waterproof enough to be protected against light rain and snow. Post-production is made easy with the Insta360 mobile app that lets you edit your 360 footage from the palm of your hand. You can auto-frame your 360 videos, utilise AI-powered editing templates in the Shot Lab, or even let the app use AI to auto-edit everything for you.

The 1-Inch 360 Lens is compatible with the ONE R Core. However, you will also need to assemble the camera with the ONE RS Vertical Battery Base and the ONE RS Mounting Bracket designed for the 1-Inch 360 Lens.

Can I use the ONE R Vertical Battery Base or the ONE R/ONE RS Horizontal Battery Base with the 1-Inch 360 Lens?

The 1-Inch 360 lens is only compatible with its specifically designed vertical battery base and mounting bracket.

What else can the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition be used for apart from shooting action?

The camera is suited for action video but can also be used for livestreaming or webcam use. You can connect the Insta360 ONE RS to an Android or Apple device to livestream 360 footage, or you can utilise the camera as a webcam and broadcast 360 split-screen videos.

What accessories are available for the ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition?

The 1-Inch 360 Edition is compatible with numerous Insta360 accessories. You can use the camera with the Invisible Selfie Stick for recording drone-like third-person shots where the stick will disappear in the shot. A new lens cap is available for the 1-inch 360 lens and a new Invisible Mic Cold Shoe for the RØDE Wireless GO & GO II microphones is also available.
