Modular Camera Cage to Protect the Camera

The Kondor Blue Canon R5 Camera Cage features aluminium construction and is a four-sided cage for the Canon R5/R6 cameras. It is designed to protect the camera from common drop angles and add multiple accessory attachment points. It has an open design that maintains access to the camera’s controls, ports, and slots for easy operation. It also provides a wide range of accessory mounting options, such as the NATO rails, cold shoe mounts, and multiple 1/4"-20, and 3/8”-16 anti-twists threads. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate allows you to quickly remove the camera from the cage to capture stills or for gimbal and fast repositioning of the camera on different supports. The cage has NATO rails on the top and all sides that allow you to attach the top handle and other accessories. The cage remains solidly attached to the camera to prevent the camera from twisting inside and allowing large camera setups.

Top Handle with a Trigger Button to Control the Camera

The top handle can be easily attached to the top of the cage using NATO rails. It includes a trigger start/stop button to control camera operations for capturing videos and stills. It also provides multiple accessory attachment points and an ergonomic grip design for comfortable handheld use. The multiple ARRI-standard accessory mounts have locating pins to prevent twists on every side of the cage. You can use the handle to carry the cage or for triggering the recording action of the camera. The bubble level ensures that the camera is balanced and levelled, maintaining the ideal centre of gravity with most lenses to allow effortless manoeuvrability from the top handle.

Maintains Secure Connections

The cage ensures a secure connection between the accessories and the cables. The integrated cold-shoe mounts feature a safety pin arrangement to prevent accidental falling out of the accessories. The kit also includes HDMI and USB type-C clamps to prevent the cables from accidentally pulling out. It is compatible with Canon R5, R5C, and R6 cameras.
