The tripod comes with Manfrotto's 3-way Live head which is a marvel in itself. Its fluid drag system provides incredibly smooth control for both panoramic and tilt moments, and it comes with a unique 200PL-Pro plate and is compatible with the Manfrotto 501PL video plate, making it suitable for longer lenses. It can also make use of Manfrotto RC2 & Arca-Swiss type head attachments, too. Aiding the compact nature of this kit, along with the small, sturdy legs, the head also features fully foldable handles which help to pack down the head to make this an incredibly versatile part of your gear bag.
