Flexible camera and everyday storage

The UNCOVER Backpack 24L takes an adaptable approach to carrying equipment through its removable camera insert. The insert accommodates a mirrorless camera with up to three lenses, along with accessories such as batteries, microphones, filters, a compact drone, or a mini gimbal. Removing the insert frees the internal volume for personal belongings, travel items, or work equipment, allowing the backpack to transition easily between photographic and everyday use. The exterior avoids the appearance of a traditional camera bag, making it suitable for commuting, travel, and professional environments where a lower-profile design may be preferred.

SmartLift adaptive interior

The SmartLift system is one of the defining features of the UNCOVER Backpack 24L. Rather than separating the upper and lower sections with a fixed divider, the internal floor adjusts according to the amount of equipment stored within the camera compartment. As larger accessories or camera equipment occupy more space below, the upper compartment automatically adjusts to the changing load. This reduces unused volume between sections and makes more efficient use of the backpack's overall capacity. When maximum storage space is required, the SmartLift floor can be fully unzipped to create a single uninterrupted interior, which is useful when carrying clothing, larger travel items, or equipment that benefits from a more open packing layout.

Expandable 20.5-28.5L capacity

The roll-top design allows the backpack to expand from 20.5L to 28.5L. In its smaller configuration, the bag maintains a streamlined profile suited to daily commuting and regular equipment loads. When extra clothing, travel items, or additional equipment need to be carried, the roll-top extends the available capacity without altering the organisation of the main compartments. This provides greater flexibility without changing the carrying experience for photographers and creators whose carrying requirements can vary significantly between assignments, travel days, and everyday use.

Camera access and organisation

Fast access is essential when equipment needs to be retrieved quickly. The side access panel provides direct entry to the camera compartment, allowing photographers to reach their camera without opening the entire backpack or disturbing the upper section. A dedicated compartment accommodates laptops up to 14 inches, while a separate tablet sleeve and internal organiser pockets keep devices, accessories, and personal items separated from camera equipment. Secure tuck-away pullers contribute to a cleaner exterior profile and reduce the likelihood of straps or zip pulls catching during transport. A hidden AirTag pocket adds a layer of security for tracking the bag while travelling or commuting.

Weather protection and carrying comfort

The UNCOVER Backpack 24L combines custom-made TriTex three-layer fabric, weather-sealed YKK zippers, and a PU-coated base to protect against rain, dust, and everyday wear without relying on a separate rain cover. A ventilated back panel promotes airflow during extended carrying, while the padded harness distributes weight more evenly across the shoulders. For travel, the backpack includes a trolley pass-through, a hidden side pocket for a tripod or water bottle, and a tuck-away stabilising strap. Alongside a custom G-Hook, the FlexGrid panel, constructed from dual-laminated Cordura with laser-cut attachment points, provide a practical mounting surface for accessories and tools.
