Fire your Canon pro SLR wirelessly and remotely from up to 100 feet away using the MicroSync Digital Kit. Simply connect the sub-mini phone end of this cord to the MicroSync Receiver and connect the 3-pin end of this cord to the Canon SLR's electronic cable release input.
Using the MicroSync™ with MicroSync™ camera firing cords allows you to remotely and wirelessly operate the shutter of your camera just as if you were using a traditional remote camera firing cord. There are four important things to know about using the MicroSync™ and MicroSync™ camera firing cords to fire your SLR:

- With your camera or lens in the auto focus mode, depressing the fire button on the MicroSync™ transmitter will first focus your camera and then fire it.
- In the continuous shooting mode, you can press and hold down the fire button on the MicroSync™ transmitter, which will allow your camera to fire as fast as your camera is capable of firing.
- To prevent your digital SLR from going to sleep, you will need to disable your camera’s auto power-off function. Canon users set your “Auto Power Off” function to off.
- In bulb mode, you can press and hold down the fire button on the MicroSync™ transmitter for any length of time, then release the fire button to end the exposure (subject to your camera’s limitations).
