The Polaroid App

There are two aspects to the Polaroid app, both of which enhance the use of your camera and the results it can produce. First up is the creative tools that offer different options that were simply not possible with past Polaroid cameras. There’s an aperture priority mode and tripod mode, as well as a portrait mode, double exposures, light painting, a noise trigger and a manual mode.

The other aspect of the app is the Polaroid Lab. This intelligent image management system allows you to turn your phone photos into a Polaroid pictures. You can create collages of two, three, four, six, or nine frames. The app allows you to embed a video or second image into your Polaroid picture using our AR feature. Furthermore, the app features a scan and share mode in which you can use the built-in scanner to store high-quality digital copies of your classic white frame i-Type film frames.

What’s the focal length?

There are two lenses. A standard lens provides a 102.35 mm (40mm/35 equivalent) range and a close-up lens that provides a 94.96 mm (35mm/35 equivalent) range. The field of view offers a horizontal 40° and vertical 41° angle.

What's the Shutter Speed?

The Polaroid Now+ Instant Camera has a shutter speed of 1/200 - 1sec. This can be expanded to 1/200 - 30 sec. and Bulb mode when used with the Polaroid App.

What can I do with the filters?

You can use the 5 included filters to saturate your photos in colour, deepen contrast, or add dreamy effects. The filters include starburst, red vignette, orange, blue, and yellow.

How do I recharge the battery?

You can use the included USB cable to recharge the camera.
